News from Leading Edge Alliance Conference

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to participate in a meeting in Miami with the Leading Edge Alliance of accounting firms.  The meeting's focus was best practices from Marketing perspectives.

The session was led by Liesa Gill, of Lattimore Black, Morgan & Cain.  Participants in the discussion included:  Kelly Sheridan from CCR Advisory Group; June Landry from Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co. Ltd.; Sally Rose from Lane Gorman Trubitt, LLP; Stacy Leners from Lutz & Company; Hortenisa Hacker from Morrision, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLP; Karen Love and Raissa Evans from our firm at PKF Texas,  P.C.; and Ilana Isakov from SS& G Financial Services, Inc.    A room of outstanding talent and experience each doing a great job for their organizations.  Thanks ladies for allowing me to spend some time with you yesterday.  I was impressed with your ideas, experiences and spirit of knowledge sharing.  We all benefited from those discussions.

The evening was capped off by a reception on the lawn out back of the hotel by the beach.  We were treated to several local customs, edibles, elixirs and music.  A wonderful evening.

Thank you Karen for inviting me to your meeting and thanks Liesa for allowing me to participate in your day's activities.

We are always excited to have partners sit in our marketing meetings as it really presents an opportunity for them to see the value and top talent of the LEA marekting team. We value your input and questions as well as it challenges us to thing through the marriage of 'marketing ideas' and 'partner ideas' to bring about the 'best ideas' for our firms.

Leisa

Thanks for your kind comments. LBMC in Nashville is a great firm and your contributions are a testimony to your collaborative efforts.

I was very impressed with all the LEA folks who attended the marketing SIG.

I will try and stop by next time I am at a LEA function.
